WHAT IS WIFI

Short for ‘wireless fidelity’. A term for certain types of wireless local area networks (WLAN) that use specifications conforming to IEEE 802.11b. WiFi has gained acceptance in many environments as an alternative to a wired LAN. Many airports, hotels, and other services offer public access to WiFi networks so people can log onto the Internet and receive emails on the move. These locations are known as hotspots.

WHERE IS WIFI

At this time, we have connectivity in the Clifton, Colorado and old Fruitvale area. You can think of it as a corridor from D road to F road North to South and from 30 Road to 31 1/2 Road east to west. It may be more and it may be less depending on your location. We are working on expanding this if we get enough requests in a given area.

We are working our way toward the east into the areas that can't get all the services. Quickly, we will be all the way to Palisade.
